I'm trying out a new peice of modern technology today. Actually I'm playing with two neat devices at once. One is the Nokia N800 Internet tablet, which I've had for some time. The other is a newly designed Bluetooth wireless keyboard built and marketed by Apple.
The Nokia N800 is, and always has been, a neat little gadget for email or general web work (I'm typing this Blog entry with it). The weakest point of the device was it's "on screen" keyboard, which required a great deal of practice and patience to use properly.
This is where Apple's Bluetooth wireless keyboard comes into play. I was able to pair the keyboard to the N800 for synergistic operation that makes the two devices operate as though they were one.
The N800takes care of the Internet connection (via my wireless router), formats the screen and provides all of the visual neccesities, while the Apple Wireless Keyboard provides the input and control for the session.
I'm amazed, and very well pleased, at the way these two devices work together.
I sure we'll hear more of one, if not both, of these devices in the future.
