Thanksgiving came, .........and went. I ate too much, ... how about you?
Turkey, dressing, cranberries, potatoes (and sweet potatoes), green beans, pumpkin pie and misc. other goodies. Wow! ... way too much food, for an old overweight guy.
I spent yesterday removing the last vestiges of tree leaves, that covered the ground like a brown snowfall. They were deep! From the looks of the trees, I'll get to do that at least once more this Winter (there's still quite a few hanging there, yet to fall).
It's overcast outside, another gray Fall/Winter day in Kentucky. The air feels damp and the temp. is hanging in the mid 40's for now. But we expect it to drop by Sunday, with snow flurries possible. It's a good time to stay indoors, except to go out and tend the grill or smoker cooker.
But, in the spirit of the holiday, I'm thankful for Connie's and my present good health, our good life, our many friends and all of our family, both here and scattered across the country.
Wishing you all well, and hope you didn't eat too much.
